Therapy With Me
I will give you the chance to experience trust, safety and peace again, so you can begin to find your way to a new sense of being at home in the world.
How we work together will be determined by your unique situation. It will be at a pace that is right for you, and I aim to bring a caring and non-judgemental support to our sessions. Together we can build a trusting relationship which will enable you to understand what's going on for you.
I offer accessible sessions both long and short-term, in person, online, and by phone.
What I can help with
I have experience in working with adults/older adults facing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, childhood abuse, bereavement, serious illness, life crisis, cultural issues, sexuality, identity, relationships, self-esteem and work related issues.
People turn to counselling for many reasons – a sudden crisis, a long-term difficulty or simply a sense of being overwhelmed by life.
Asking for help is a vulnerable step, but one that I believe is very worthwhile.
I understand that finding a therapist you can trust and feel comfortable with is an important decision within counselling. This is why I offer a free, initial assessment where you can get to know me a bit more and ask any questions you have. This will be a 20 minute zoom or telephone session.
